Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Protecting your accounts

With the increased occurrence of fraud, cybersecurity attacks, data breaches, and account takeovers across financial institutions, protecting our personal information is more important than ever. Bank fraud cases in the U.S. grew 25% in 2022 (total of 156,134 reported cases). Moreover, the value of fraud loss in the U.S. in 2022 exceeded $4.50 billion.

Protecting our members' personal and financial information is a top priority at Telhio. One of the best ways to ensure your financial information is safe and secure is to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Two-Factor Authentication provides an extra layer of security by requiring two separate and distinct forms of identification to verify your identity. This process makes it harder for attackers to gain access to a person's device or online account because, even if the victim's password is hacked, a password alone is not enough to pass the authentication check.

Two-Factor Authentication will be required starting March 4, 2024
